What life had taught me so far...

The title seems very thoughtful...but actually its not really that woww AHAHHA. Kidding, as you all have probably read from the top of my blog page, I've been living in Qatar for just over a decade now. TIME FLIES. I know right?! I remember my first "Qatar Airways" experience, it was my first ever international flight, and my first LONG distance flight. Long as in... more than 2 hours flight...and I'm sitting here thinking... that all was 10 years ago. 10 years ago. Oh mon dieu!

I just can't express my love for Qatar (cheesy but true; heheeh). The amount of experiences I got to experience is just....woah. There are some things that without Qatar, I wouldn't in a million years be able to experience. And hey, Of course I'm still living here... hopefully till I graduate! So let's go to the point of the blog post, What life had taught me so far...

  • The more confidence you have in YOURSELF, the more daring things you'll get to experience and the happier you'll be! I am a really shy person. Well not to those that have known me for at least a week... but I am really shy. My shyness have been holding back a lot of things that I could've done in the past. But so far, throughout my secondary school years (in MIS) I learned a lesson. Being shy is good, sweet and all the good connotations that being shy could do, but it gets you nowhere. Have some confidence. Trust me, once you have a little portion of it, things will be MUCH better. Personally, I think it's better to feel like "Oh my god, I can't believe I did that when I was a teen!" rather than feeling "I should've done that back then too bad my shyness got in the way.." So... shy people out there(including myself) just try stepping out of you comfort zone, life will be so much better in many ways... honestly.
  • Everyone is the same. Have some international friends! here you are, in a country, consists of mostly people from all around the world, come on, grow up and stop being picky! Here's your chance, here's your privilege to be friends with someone who's not from the same country as you...don't take it for granted. No, I'm not saying don't be friends with the people who's from the same country as you are, but my point is, be friends with someone who's not from the same country as you as well. It teaches you about their culture, their country(duh) and also, it teaches you that no matter how different you are culturally, we are all the same :)
  • Money can't buy happiness. There are times where I just feel like "I wish I had a million dollars I would be as happy as a fat kid being brought to MacDonalds!" But then again, during my not so happy days... I realised it doesn't and it couldn't buy happiness. I can have the latest gadgets, the latest shoes, the latest anything.... and still end up depressed. I'm just like any other teenagers, I've been through some really depressing days where it reached to the point that I cried sobbingly during one school morning. YEAH. it was really depressing and embarrassing considering the fact that I cried entering my maths class! and thank you to my best friend, Maunee who then managed to comfort me and made my day. From that moment onwards, I realise... only LOVE can buy you happiness. Money can't and won't. Remember that :)... You can have all the latest expensive things that money can buy, but remember, in the end of the day, those materialistic things can't love you back...
So thats all it guys! woooooo! one of my longest post ever! I hope you learned something from my experiences...so far... hahaha! Feel free to comment down below about what your life had taught you so far!:)
Have a blessed friday:) byeeee!xxx
