winter..you here yet?

HEEEEYYLO! I know I haven't been posting much lately...that's because 1) I'm not feeling so well. 2)I've got a mountainous amount of school work to be done.. 3)I'm running out of ideas of what to write!:s grrrr! anyways, for the past few days...it's been continuously cloudy and... windy and breezy and everything that I have been waiting for! Finally, I am starting to smell winter. Here's a pic.

ANDD it's finally weekend. <that doesn't look so exciting does it? Well...that's because I'm actually not excited for the weekends. I have sooooo much to do it's slowly killing me. Plus the weird stomach aches and sore throat and cold and this sickness I'm having doesn't help at all :(

Putting all my sickness and shitty feeling aside, I had a pretty good weeek :). Quite a few hilarious things happened, but again, bringing my sickness back, I'm tooooo lazy to write about it. ahah. Sorrrrryy :D

I hope you all had a wonderful week:]..

What life had taught me so far...

The title seems very thoughtful...but actually its not really that woww AHAHHA. Kidding, as you all have probably read from the top of my blog page, I've been living in Qatar for just over a decade now. TIME FLIES. I know right?! I remember my first "Qatar Airways" experience, it was my first ever international flight, and my first LONG distance flight. Long as in... more than 2 hours flight...and I'm sitting here thinking... that all was 10 years ago. 10 years ago. Oh mon dieu!

I just can't express my love for Qatar (cheesy but true; heheeh). The amount of experiences I got to experience is just....woah. There are some things that without Qatar, I wouldn't in a million years be able to experience. And hey, Of course I'm still living here... hopefully till I graduate! So let's go to the point of the blog post, What life had taught me so far...

  • The more confidence you have in YOURSELF, the more daring things you'll get to experience and the happier you'll be! I am a really shy person. Well not to those that have known me for at least a week... but I am really shy. My shyness have been holding back a lot of things that I could've done in the past. But so far, throughout my secondary school years (in MIS) I learned a lesson. Being shy is good, sweet and all the good connotations that being shy could do, but it gets you nowhere. Have some confidence. Trust me, once you have a little portion of it, things will be MUCH better. Personally, I think it's better to feel like "Oh my god, I can't believe I did that when I was a teen!" rather than feeling "I should've done that back then too bad my shyness got in the way.." So... shy people out there(including myself) just try stepping out of you comfort zone, life will be so much better in many ways... honestly.
  • Everyone is the same. Have some international friends! here you are, in a country, consists of mostly people from all around the world, come on, grow up and stop being picky! Here's your chance, here's your privilege to be friends with someone who's not from the same country as you...don't take it for granted. No, I'm not saying don't be friends with the people who's from the same country as you are, but my point is, be friends with someone who's not from the same country as you as well. It teaches you about their culture, their country(duh) and also, it teaches you that no matter how different you are culturally, we are all the same :)
  • Money can't buy happiness. There are times where I just feel like "I wish I had a million dollars I would be as happy as a fat kid being brought to MacDonalds!" But then again, during my not so happy days... I realised it doesn't and it couldn't buy happiness. I can have the latest gadgets, the latest shoes, the latest anything.... and still end up depressed. I'm just like any other teenagers, I've been through some really depressing days where it reached to the point that I cried sobbingly during one school morning. YEAH. it was really depressing and embarrassing considering the fact that I cried entering my maths class! and thank you to my best friend, Maunee who then managed to comfort me and made my day. From that moment onwards, I realise... only LOVE can buy you happiness. Money can't and won't. Remember that :)... You can have all the latest expensive things that money can buy, but remember, in the end of the day, those materialistic things can't love you back...
So thats all it guys! woooooo! one of my longest post ever! I hope you learned something from my experiences...so far... hahaha! Feel free to comment down below about what your life had taught you so far!:)
Have a blessed friday:) byeeee!xxx

3 more weeks till winter break!!

I JUST CAN'T WAIT FOR MY WINTER BREAK. well Christmas break. Well whatever break in 3 weeks! gosh! so exhausted from school already. The amount of things I have to get done is.... unbelieveable! lol it's funny how this is becoming a rant post.. bear with me.

On sunday next week, the 25 of November, I have my French speaking presentation which is apparently, still on my "to-be-done list". Then on monday, it's the due date of my ICT homework which I don't even get a crap of what was assigned as a homework. On tuesday.. CROSSS FLIPPIN' COUNTRY and Geography past paper test! So hippy excited! (hear my sarcasm?) On wednesday, I have my resolutions due in...and I don't even have any clue what to write in my operative clause!(welp needed!).. oh oh I almost forgot. We're also getting our essay results some time next week! :( SHUCKSS! And on thursday...nothing is really happening. Thursday is always a "chilled" day. I guess...

So those are the things that are going to happen next week...pfffttt.. and here I am casually writing this thinking that I have nothing in my "to-be-done list" :P Enough rants of what's happening next week...and let's talk about what happened this week. This week was okay.. I guess. Me & my French classmates spent our French lessons playing slender and minecraft instead of doing our speaking presentation. LOL. Mr Allali didn't care. Wait...did he even notice? HAHAHA.

Alright, that's it for today. I hope you all had a wonderful week and I shall see you all....whenever I get the chance to see you :P BYE!! xxxx

Shoes shoes shoes!

As you all have probably (not) know, I am a massive fan of shoes. Well clothes, shoes, bags....they're essential. Here are my top 3 shoes this season! Whoop!

Shoe number 1

This boots is one of my favourite boots of..... these two months! I've just got this in the mid October, when Nine West had their Special offer thing... apparently, when I went back there during their "sales" last weekend, they've reduced the price of this boots! Aawww! not my luck! Well at least I've got it. And trust me, it's not as pricey as you think, it's definitely worth the money. Also, for a leathered material boots.. QR199 is not so much of a splurge!

Shoes number 2

This is one of my most used boots! I got this just about a year ago from Marks and Spencer's. My dad got it for me as a REALLY late 13th birthday gift(yup, he bought this for me exactly 4 months after my birthday) and I absolutely love it! The material is mostly suede and it has this wooly material thing above the buckle which makes it even moreeee cute! The colour is navy blue btw, don't know if you can see that :S Since I got this as a present, I'm not sure how much it costs! sorrrrry loool!x You can check the M&S site and see if they've still got it, I doubt it though. :D

Shoes number 3

Okay... long story short, a few days ago I helped my mom in cleaning our storage room because it was in such a huge mess..and guess what?! I found this!(and its' pair) Obviously, it was my mom's but she doesn't even remember that she have got this, so I asked her if I can keep it as mine and as far as I know, she's cool with it.. HAHA. Sorry mom! But I found this first! Since I only found this a few days ago, I still haven't used it but from the looks of it..I'm dying to!!!

Boots I found in the storage lol
Okay, that's all for my post today! I hope you enjoyed reading my (not) meaningful blog:) I hope you all have a wonderful day

ps: I chose to write about my shoes rather than revise for my ICT theory test tomorrow. YOLO.

My winter staple pieces! from le wardrobe

Hello there! Sorry I've been off for a while. It's the weekend and I had numerous amount of work to do! I still have homeworks piling up here beside me, but meh.... I need a break from school at the moment.
The idea of me blogging about this came from.... nowhere. I just remembered that I haven't posted anything on my blog for 2 days ishhh, so I thought I'd talk about my winter staple pieces.. since it's almost winter here. ALMOST. Well let's just say...winter doesn't really exist here in Qatar, but we do have some really cold days. And again, I'm really used to a 20degrees Celcius+ weather, so for me...anything below 20 degrees Celcius is pretty darn chilly. (I am not exaggerating btw, that is just me) haha.

So here it goes....top number one!
I bought this coat nearly.... a year ago. Yep a year ago when Debenhams had their winter/Christmas sale (?) I honestly can't remember. What I do remember is that, I had such a great deal out of it. The initial price was actually about QR 587 and it was reduced to QR 187. It was well worth the money. This kind of coat would probably be more effective during the colder days, when it gets up to 10 Degrees Celcius. Anything higher than that, I would probably not recommend to wear something this thick because...you'll end up sweating.. obviously... hahaha :)!
padded coat from the brand Pineapple in Debenhams.

Top number deux! (two)

Apologise for the really horrible photography skills, I just suck at taking pictures(I admit it!) This knit cardigan top again, got it off a sale... wait.. no. My mom bought this for on february this year? yeah.. Can't believe again its' been a year! I've haven't really worn much out of this yet considering the fact that ma mere bought this top on February and it wasn't really that cold back then(as far as I could remember) so yeah. But I really like the warm quality...duh nadya...its a knit cardigan it will be warm... Anyways, this cardigan is suitable for the again the chilly days when it gets up to 15 degrees celcius. Unlike my first coat, you could also wear this when the temperature goes up to 20 degrees. Because let's admit it, 20 degrees is pretty chilly for a Qatari weather! I like the fact that it has some cute detailing in the two tiny pockets, it just bring the winter spirit up!
Zara knit cardigan.

Top number 3!

This is slightly different in appearance than the other two...because... IT'S MULTI COLOURED! Yes, it might be winter...yes in winter its better to go a little bit dark on clothing colours...but I'm a girl, there should be at least some bright colours even though it's winter! I absolutely love this sweater, although it is only suitable for really cold days, I just adore it. The pattern that goes throughout the whole piece.... just brings my mood up! I love this! I've worn this the most here in Qatar's winter season, because I just....again I love it. I love the colour. I bought this from H&M, almost a year ago... again.... unbelievable!
Knit sweater from Divided, H&M

Top number 4! (last one!)

I bought this sweater fairly recently from H&M and guess how much it costs? QR 75! It's definitely worth the money, but I don't really like the quality of it.... but who cares? HAHAHA. You get for what you pay for. However, this pink, salmonyyy coral colour is just beautiful. Let's just say, Nadya likes anything that has some pink in it! Oh and by the way, I haven't worn this.. YET.
sweater from H&M
So, that's all my current staple pieces for this "winter" season, I'm sure there will be more coming up as I'm going to go shopping again pretty soon...so yeah! hope you've enjoyed it and I hope you all are having a wonderful day :)..

I'm such a procrastinator!

I've got a history test tomorrow, and here I am...casually chilling and writing about me being a procrastinator! wow nadya, you deserve an award.

I currently feel so positive about the test.. I don't even know why. It's like, those moments in life when you're so sure you're gonna do well. I seriously don't know how to react to this kind of feeling. Because what if the paper wouldn't be so easy tomorrow? well the only way to sort that mess out is....to study even harder!

I'm so lazy, it's not even funny. I tend to cram most of the time, which, in some cases, do work... but what I've figured out about history is..It doesn't. Cramming won't do it in History. But yet, here I am still not giving a shit about it, and still gonna cram all tutor time tomorrow. Perhaps this is one of the "YOLO" attitudes. HAHAHA no.

Ok this blog is going absolutely nowhere! I am complaining about being a procrastinator...while procrastinating... you see my problem? Yeah.

Anyways! now I'm going to head back to my books and read a little bit of History and see if it will increase my knowledge about League of Nations. LOL.
